Great neighborhood bar. The menu has plenty of options. Definitely coming back. We had the Pho and fresh shrimp rolls as appetizers. We also order the Wings. Wings big and juicy not overcooked. Sauce was good too. Service was lil slow but she was attentive knows the menu. You can tell everything made to order .
The fresh Spring Rolls were phenomenal, one of my favorites and there are very few places in town to find them, these were out of this world yummy and fresh! I also think the pho broth finds a savory balance of hot yet not overwhelming. Erin and Perri’s service was fun and helpful, making sure all the options were made available to me. Flavor and ambiance were both great, plus the hours are convenient for late shift work!
I’m actually shocked the reviews are so high. We were looking for a new spot to have our first date out in a while for my husband’s birthday and had high hopes because of the reviews. First off, it was freezing in there but that could just be us. Then it took way too long to get chips and queso (tasted like canned concession stand cheese) but the two salsas were pretty good (similar to Abuelos options). Food was unfortunately okay at best. Onion rings were not crispy at all but almost donut like, a foamy consistency. The wings were over cooked as well. We were starving since it was already a late dinner for us, so needed to eat as much of it as we could. Live band started just before we left and seemed like a good band but way too loud for how small the place is. Really disappointed the reviews didn’t match the experience, so wanted to make sure no one else gets let down for a special night out.
